
Mark has a broad range of experience and has dealt with numerous high value and complex cases for individuals, partnerships and corporate clients. He has appeared regularly in Courts around the country as well as the Royal Courts of Justice in London.
Mark is focused on achieving the best result for clients as quickly as possible and recently acted for a multi-national client facing a £13,000,000 Counterclaim.
Outside the office, Mark loves to travel, visiting family in Australia and spending time with friends on the Greek Islands. He also enjoys all motorsports, his ideal break would be watching the Grand Prix in Monaco!

John originally joined Lane & Co in 1991 as a Trainee Legal Executive and left in 1996. He re-joined the firm in 2004 and became a partner having qualified as a Solicitor in 2005.
John’s legal expertise in debt collection and commercial litigation spans 25 years and his breadth of knowledge is extensive.
In addition John leads the Company’s new business strategy, while advising existing clients on the best way to recover their monies and improve cash-flow.
When not working John can be found on the river bank trying to catch that elusive double-figure Barbel, (which he is still trying to catch!), or cheering on Wolverhampton Wanderers.

Our Team Members

Suzanne initially commenced employment at Lane and Co in 1997 as an office assistant. She has worked hard and has studied with Ilex during her employment having worked in several Departments over her time. She qualified in 2005 as a Member of Ilex and then went on to become a Chartered Legal Executive in 2007.
She has a vast amount of experience in Commercial Litigation and has dealt with a wide range of actions from Small Claims Hearings to Multi Track Trials.
Having a young family leaves little time for many hobbies but she enjoys films and the cinema. She also likes going to the theatre and enjoys all types of productions including ballet although her favourite is musicals. She also enjoys reading and spending time with her family.

Neeru joined Lane & Co in October 2018 and is a Solicitor in the Defended Commercial Litigation Team whose areas of expertise include:
– Alternative Dispute Resolution
– Disputed Claims and
– Litigation Services
Away from work, Neeru has a deep interest in community issues and charitable work, and has undertaken voluntary work in Ghana and Kenya.
Neeru also has an interest in Property development and enjoys spending her spare time with friends and family.

Having begun her career in the Law as a Legal Secretary, She has over 5 years experience working in Commercial Litigation working for Solicitors Practices across the West Midlands, assisting in small, multi and fast track cases from start to finish for both Claimants and Defendants.
Outside of work Roxanne enjoys keeping fit, travelling, going to the cinema and spending time her with family and Jack Russell. She has also previously volunteered her time for dog walking / grooming at local dog shelters.

Kim briefly left Lane & Co to work for a firm of Solicitors in Birmingham, gaining experience in Personal Injury matters and other areas of Law.
Kim returned to Lane & Co in 2012, bringing back to us her vast knowledge and understanding of the debt collection and commercial litigation process.
In her spare time Kim likes to read and spend time with family and friends. She also likes walking (especially in the Shropshire Hills) and taking holidays in Devon.
Kim is also the proud mother of Henry.

In her spare time, Bev enjoys spending time with family and friends, enjoying holidays abroad and one of her favourite pastimes is gardening and growing vegetables on her mini allotment.

Abbie describes herself as:
“A caffeine dependent life-form who hasn’t won the lottery yet!”

She loves to sing (she actually can’t, but she loves to!) as we all will testify!!!!!
Deana also has a love of all things Welsh. In her spare time she is learning the Welsh language – “gwaith gwych, Deana!”

Having been at Lane & Co for nearly 30 years there is a standing joke that she will only leave in a wooden box! Surjit does say she is not sure how the Directors have put up with her for so long, so she feels she must be doing something right.

Carolyn’s roles have been varied but she is now settled in the Accounts Department as the Credit Controller.
Away from the office Carolyn enjoys spending time with her ever expanding family.

Lorraine enjoys spending time with family and friends, cooking, gardening and walks with the dogs.

One of her areas of responsibility is the accounts department and she became the Lane & Co COFA when the role was introduced in 2012. A varied and hectic job is balanced by her family, pets and frequent visits to North Wales.
